WAT LEU PAGODA

WAT LEU PAGODA: There are 5 Wats ( Buddhist temples ) around Sihanouk Ville. Wat Leu is located on Sihanouk Ville mountain , 6 kilometers from the provincial town. Wat Leu is commonly known as “Upper Wat”. It is surrounded by forest and overlooks the town, ocean and nearby islands.

The Wat Leu monks maintain the Khmer Buddhist traditions. On special days many people will prepare food and fruit to offer to the monk at the pagoda. In return the monks will bless them and wish them good luck and happiness in their lives.
